Broker and shipper eligibility is subject to approval, authority age, insurance, safety history, equipment, and other applicable requirements. - Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. - Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance. - Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while following all traffic laws and regulations. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. - Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading cargo. Qualifications - Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. - Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. - Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in commercial driving. - Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with dispatchers and clients.
