Power Distribution Planner/Scheduler INEOS Acetyls | Texas City, TX Position Summary The Power Distribution Planner/Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling preventive and corrective electrical maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This position works closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and contractors to optimize resources, minimize downtime, and maintain equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule routine, preventive, and corrective electrical maintenance activities. Develop detailed job packages, including work instructions, materials, labor requirements, cost estimates, and safety considerations. Manage maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance plans, equipment records, and schedules using SAP. Develop and maintain 3-week execution schedules and rolling 3-month maintenance plans. Coordinate materials, contractors, equipment, and resources to ensure timely work execution. Support electrical maintenance planning for plant outages and turnarounds. Monitor maintenance KPIs, budgets, labor utilization, and schedule compliance. Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams to prioritize work and improve equipment reliability. Ensure compliance with site safety standards, regulatory requirements, and maintenance procedures. Provide backup supervisory support for Power Distribution technicians as needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in an electrical field preferred. 10+ years of direct maintenance planning and scheduling experience OR 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a petrochemical environment with applicable education/certifications and planning experience. Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance, including work orders, task lists, preventive maintenance, and scheduling. Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, maintenance processes, materials, and equipment. Experience coordinating maintenance resources, contractors, and cost estimates. Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Must possess or obtain a valid TWIC card prior to employment. Preferred Skills Experience with SAP purchasing and inventory management modules. Familiarity with Viziya and ProCal systems. Experience supporting plant outages, turnarounds, and maintenance improvement initiatives. NCCER certifications or technical training in high-voltage electrical systems.
