Port Dispatcher- Night Shift $30-31 Per Hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30PM-1:30AM Location: 5685 Alcoa Ave, Vernon, CA 90058 Pay Rate: $30.00-$31.00 per hour DOE POSITION SUMMARY: QX Logistix is looking for a Night Dispatcher who will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient coordination of Class A drivers doing drayage, airport pickups and store deliveries. You will schedule the movement of freight for customers, assign resources and communicate with customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of trucks and drivers to the ports, airport, and customer locations efficiently. Monitoring delivery schedules and proactively addressing any issues or delays that may arise. Communicating with customers to provide updates on the status of their shipments and address any concerns or issues. Managing a team of drivers, including training, scheduling, and monitoring performance. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain accurate records of all shipments, delivery times and locations. Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and operations, to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Using logistics software and tools to optimize delivery routes and improve operational efficiency. Providing exceptional customer service to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers. QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 2 years’ experience in the logistics industry 2 years’ experience dispatching a plus 2 years' of experience with Drayage required Experience with PortPro and Samsara is a PLUS Bilingual English and Spanish a PLUS Why be part of the QX Team?
