KNOWLEDGE IN PLUMBING REQUIRED!! Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plumbing Supply Warehouse Branch Manager to lead our plumbing supply distribution operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, logistics, team supervision, and process improvement initiatives. Your leadership will ensure efficient distribution operations, optimal customer service, and continuous enhancement of warehouse workflows. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, procurement, and order fulfillment to ensure seamless distribution processes. Supervise warehouse staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to cultivate a motivated and efficient team. Oversee transportation planning and management systems to optimize freight movement, fleet utilization, and delivery schedules. Implement process improvements using lean principles and continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Manage budgeting activities, including cost control, profit & loss analysis, and resource allocation to meet financial targets. Utilize ERP systems and warehouse management systems to monitor inventory levels, streamline workflows, and improve accuracy in inventory control. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners to ensure timely shipments and compliance with shipping regulations. Develop and enforce safety protocols in compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a safety-first culture within the warehouse. Analyze supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for process optimization, demand planning accuracy, and distribution efficiency. Collaborate with procurement teams for materials management and ensure supply chain continuity through effective logistics management strategies. Experience Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a distribution or supply chain environment. Strong background in logistics management including transportation management systems, freight coordination, shipping & receiving processes. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with supervisory experience in a warehouse setting. Knowledge of inventory management techniques and warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean or continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with ERP systems, Microsoft Office suite, and supply chain analytics tools. Ability to manage budgets, perform demand planning, and oversee production planning activities. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive operational excellence.
