Vylor is seeking a Plant Operations Coordinator to join our Seed Operations Development Program (SODP) in Hedrick, Iowa. This early-career opportunity is designed for someone interested in building experience across plant operations, seed production, supply chain, leadership, and continuous improvement. As a Plant Operations Coordinator, you will work alongside plant teams to support the safe, efficient, and effective operation of a seed production facility while gaining hands-on experience with the people, processes, equipment, and systems that support our business. What You’ll Do In this role, you will have opportunities to: Support day-to-day plant operations and production activities Help coordinate production priorities, schedules, people, and resources Gain exposure to seed processing, conditioning, packaging, warehousing, and distribution Partner with teams across production, quality, maintenance, safety, and supply chain Help identify and solve operational challenges Use data and information to support decisions and plant performance Participate in continuous improvement and other plant-based projects Build leadership experience through meaningful responsibilities and team interaction Seed operations are seasonal, so your responsibilities and experiences will change throughout the year. You will gain exposure to both fast-paced operational periods and opportunities focused on planning, improvement, and development. The Seed Operations Development Program (SODP) is Vylor’s early-career development program designed to build the experience, skills, and relationships needed for continued growth within Seed Operations. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you will participate in structured development opportunities that may include: A dedicated mentor Regular development conversations with your manager and Talent Pipeline Coordinator Exposure to leaders and teams across Seed Operations Development sessions with other SODP employees Project-based and cross-functional learning experiences Development in areas such as leadership, communication, problem solving, project management, collaboration, and adaptability The program is designed to help you build a strong understanding of the business while developing the skills and experiences needed for future opportunities.
