The company is guided by the principles of winning-with-integrity, performance, value-creation, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a Plant Manager. Plant Manager responsibilities include full P&L responsibility, implementing the company’s overall strategy in the region, optimizing operations, and managing people. The Plant Manager executes policies and makes decisions guiding productivity, quality and cost efficiency using best practices with a focus on continuous improvement. The Plant Manager is responsible for driving a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) across manufacturing operations through Lean methodologies, structured problem solving, waste reduction, process optimization, and data-driven decision making. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for the following duties which are performed personally: Oversee day-to-day site operations Implement the company’s strategy and develop tactics to achieve goals and growth objectives Maintain budgets and optimize expenses Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance Prepare regular reports for upper management Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations per company and OSHA guidelines Oversee DOT compliance requirements Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors) Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with regulatory standards Develop and standardize quality procedures and control plans Serve as the primary quality interface for customers Facilitate Lean Manufacturing activities including Kaizen events, process mapping, standard work development, and waste elimination. Utilize Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis to improve process capability and reduce variation. Drive operational excellence initiatives that improve throughput, yield, cycle time, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Develop visual management systems and KPI dashboards to monitor operational performance. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to excel at each duty outlined above and have the following knowledge, skills, and background: General Requirements Proven experience as a Plant Manager with a strong operations background focused on profitability Strong P&L knowledge with ability to interpret profitability metrics Decisive with proven ability to make good business judgements in the face of competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience in planning and budgeting Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, procurement, operations, etc.) Strong analytical ability with a problem-solving aptitude Excellent communication skills (Both written and verbal) Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Strong customer service skills BA / BS in Business, Industrial Operations, or relevant field Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification preferred. Experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
