We are currently hiring a Planning & Supply Chain Coordinator, who will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the planning, scheduling, procurement, inventory, forecasting, fulfillment, and supply chain activities required to support efficient manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key link between the Manufacturing, Production Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory Control, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams. The Planning & Supply Chain Coordinator ensures that production requirements are accurately planned, materials are available, inventory is properly managed, customer demand is considered, and key operational metrics are tracked and reported. The successful candidate will help ensure the organization has the appropriate materials, inventory, production plan, and operational visibility necessary to meet business and customer requirements. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. The Planning $ Supply Chain Coordinator will be capable of managing multiple priorities, identifying potential risks, maintaining accurate data, and proactively communicating issues that may impact production schedules, inventory levels, or customer fulfillment. Responsibilities of the Role: Maintain proper inventory levels on items monitored Create replenishment loads that are optimized to minimize logistical costs Maintain adequate inventory levels on all SKU’s pertaining to this role Work closely with the Master Planner and Production Coordinator ensuring minimal delays and smooth execution Support the Operations teams and Planning team with the rollout of new products, promotional packaging, and holiday inventory planning on purchased products. Participate in the review of inventory levels and warehouse capacity, initiate and coordinate necessary product movements to prevent out of stock and out of date issues as well as overstock/warehouse capacity challenges Report on close-date inventory and work to reduce Breakage, Damage and Loss (BDL) due to product age and request Disposition Vendor Relations: Source new vendors, negotiate price brackets, assist in onboarding; manage vendors' brands and lead times to maintain proper inventory levels Prepare and sequence production schedules for the following weeks. Stay in constant communication with assigned departments to ensure execution of the schedule. Review and analyze line capacity to determine if alternative sourcing is required - If capacity issue exists, coordinate within the department to ensure consistent supply. You Have: Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Management, or equivalent) 2 to 4 years previous manufacturing production planning / coordination experience. Strong analytical skills and understand advanced mathematical concepts. Intermediate / advanced Excel and general systems knowledge. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Strong written and verbal communication skill Why Join Nassau Candy?
