About the role Erives Enterprises is hiring a full-time Outbound Planner at our El Paso, TX headquarters to plan and build outbound loads for a fleet of roughly 400 tractors (company and owner-operator units). You own the weekly outbound plan: matching available trucks and drivers to freight, protecting rate per mile, minimizing deadhead, and reporting weekly results against the revenue objective. You will work daily with dispatch, driver managers, the Inbound Planner, and customers and brokers in McLeod LoadMaster. This is an in-office, operations-floor role that reports to the Operations Manager. Key responsibilities Build and maintain the weekly outbound load plan: assign available tractors and drivers to loads by lane, pickup window, and customer commitment. Track the weekly revenue objective and rate per mile (RPM); flag shortfalls early and propose fixes (reloads, lane swaps, broker freight). Minimize deadhead and empty miles by pairing outbound loads with return freight in coordination with the Inbound Planner. Enter, update, and audit orders, movements, and rates in McLeod LoadMaster; keep load status accurate for billing. Communicate daily with customers and brokers on capacity, appointment changes, and service issues. Manage the available-truck list: units free, down, local, and without a driver, so capacity is never idle. Coordinate with driver managers and safety on hours-of-service limits, home time, and driver preferences. Prepare the weekly operations report (loads, miles, revenue, RPM, week-over-week comparison) for the Monday planning meeting. Escalate service failures, detention, and TONU claims to management with documentation. Required qualifications 2+ years in truckload planning, dispatch, or load coordination at a carrier or 3PL. Working knowledge of FMCSA hours-of-service rules and how they constrain planning. Bilingual English/Spanish, spoken and written. Able to work on-site in El Paso, TX; this is not a remote position. Comfortable making fast decisions under pressure High school diploma or GED. Preferred qualifications Hands-on experience with McLeod LoadMaster (orders, movements, rating, driver assignment). Experience with Samsara or another ELD/GPS platform for truck availability and ETAs. Familiarity with cross-border (Mexico/US) freight flows and the El Paso–Juárez market. Associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business. Schedule, compensation and benefits Full-time, Monday–Friday on-site in El Paso, TX, with phone availability for after-hours and weekend load issues on a rotation.
