Pizza Vendor Relations Manager

Job Summary Jose Luis Little Italy is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Pizza Logistics Coordinator to support the movement, scheduling, and distribution of pizza ingredients, restaurant supplies, and prepared food orders. The successful candidate will coordinate deliveries, monitor supply availability, communicate with vendors and delivery personnel, maintain logistics records, and help ensure that products reach their destinations accurately and on schedule. This role requires strong coordination, communication, inventory, and time-management skills, along with an understanding of restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the scheduling and movement of pizza ingredients and restaurant supplies. Organize delivery schedules for incoming ingredients, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies. Communicate with suppliers, distributors, drivers, and restaurant personnel regarding delivery arrangements. Monitor shipment status and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries. Coordinate the distribution of supplies between designated storage and kitchen areas. Track inventory movements and maintain accurate delivery and receiving records. Verify delivery quantities against purchase orders and supporting documents. Help coordinate outgoing pizza catering and bulk food orders when required. Monitor delivery timelines and communicate scheduling changes to relevant teams. Assist with planning supply requirements based on restaurant demand. Identify logistical issues and report shortages, damaged products, or transportation delays. Maintain organized records of shipments, delivery confirmations, and supplier communications. Support efficient coordination between purchasing, kitchen, and receiving teams. Help identify opportunities to improve delivery scheduling and supply movement. Follow company procedures for product handling, storage, and transportation. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics, business administration, or supply chain management is preferred. Previous experience in logistics coordination, delivery operations, inventory management, or restaurant operations is an advantage. Strong organizational and scheduling abilities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate multiple deliveries and operational priorities. Familiarity with inventory records, spreadsheets, and delivery tracking systems. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, drivers, and restaurant employees. Understanding of food handling and storage requirements. Dependable, flexible, and able to meet operational deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience coordinating logistics for a pizzeria, Italian restaurant, or food service business. Familiarity with pizza ingredients, packaging materials, and restaurant supply requirements. Knowledge of delivery scheduling and inventory movement procedures. Experience maintaining shipment records and delivery documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and transportation personnel. Strong multitasking and time-management abilities. Ability to identify supply chain problems and recommend practical solutions. Work Environment Restaurant logistics, receiving, and supply coordination environment. Regular communication with kitchen staff, suppliers, delivery personnel, and management. Frequent use of computers, spreadsheets, email, and delivery tracking systems. May involve occasional visits to receiving, storage, and distribution areas. Requires periods of standing, walking, and checking incoming supplies.
