Perform remote operational activities including: Starting and stopping pumps Opening and closing valves Managing flow rates and pressure conditions Continuously monitor SCADA systems, alarms, leak detection systems, and operational data. Recognize abnormal operating conditions and respond appropriately to protect personnel, property, the environment, and customer assets. Provide incident management, escalation, notifications, and communications during operational events. Serve as a first-line response center for incoming calls from the public, customers, contractors, emergency responders, and government agencies. Notify clients immediately of abnormal operating conditions, critical alarms, and emergency situations. Maintain accurate electronic logs, shift reports, operating records, and incident documentation. Analyze operational trends and investigate alarms to identify potential equipment, process, or system issues. Coordinate with field personnel, maintenance teams, engineering groups, and client representatives to support safe operations. Support planned maintenance, startup, shutdown, and product movement activities. Monitor weather conditions and assess potential impacts to operations. Participate in emergency response exercises, incident reviews, and operational drills. Conduct detailed shift turnover communication to ensure continuity of operations. Follow all company procedures, client requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations. Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT), PHMSA, and Control Room Management requirements. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Additional duties as required or assigned Qualifications Familiarity with pipeline regulations and control room management practices. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn multiple software systems. Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required Experience in pipeline operations, control room operations, dispatching, utilities, energy, transportation, military operations, emergency response, logistics, or related industries preferred Experience with SCADA or industrial control systems preferred EnControl is an Equal Opportunity Empl…
