Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Pickleball Team Member. This role will support various aspects of club operations, including member services, event coordination, facility maintenance, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is passionate about pickleball, customer-oriented, and eager to contribute to a thriving pickleball community. It would be an added bonus if the candidate has skills in social media, AI and graphic design. Responsibilities: Member Services: Greet club members and visitors warmly, providing assistance and information as needed. Assist with membership inquiries, registration, and renewals. Maintain accurate membership records and databases. Assist members with booking including how to use our booking app Introduce new and prospective members to our club Event Coordination: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of pickleball tournaments, leagues, clinics, and social events. Assist with event setup, registration, and participant check-in. Collaborate with the Club Manager to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently. Facility Maintenance: Assist with the upkeep and cleanliness of pickleball courts, equipment, and facilities. Perform routine inspections and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns. Assist with equipment inventory management and organization. Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the Club Manager and Manager of Operations and Coaching, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence. Assist with scheduling court reservations, league play, and private lessons. Prepare and distribute promotional materials, e-newsletters, and communications to club members. Customer Engagement: Engage with club members and guests to ensure a positive experience and foster a sense of community. Assist with member retention efforts, including outreach and follow-up communication. Solicit feedback from members to identify areas for improvement and enhancement. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (college education preferred). Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or recreational programming. Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and equipment (must know how to play pickleball). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Smart Serve, First Aid and CPR will be required for successful candidate. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Internet). Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays , as needed.
