Picker/Packer

Job Summary As a Picker/Packer, you’ll keep warehouse orders moving by accurately selecting, checking, packing, and preparing products for shipment. You’ll use scanning tools and material handling equipment while following safety procedures and maintaining organized inventory. Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment helps customers receive the right products in good condition and on time. Duties Pick orders using an order picker, RF scanner, and barcode scanning tools; verify items and quantities with basic math. Pack and label products, perform quality control checks, and prepare orders for shipping. Stock and organize inventory; support inventory management using a warehouse management system (WMS). Load and unload shipments and assist with shipping and receiving in a warehouse distribution environment. Operate pallet jacks and, when trained and authorized, forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers; follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Experience Warehouse experience, including warehouse operations, order picking, picking and packing, packaging, stocking, and manual handling, is helpful. Familiarity with warehouse management and inventory management systems, RF scanners, and barcode scanning for logistics is preferred. Experience with materials handling, heavy equipment operation, and material handling equipment operation is an asset. Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform load and unload tasks safely; follow safety procedures consistently. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus, but not required.
