You will work closely with physiotherapists to assist with patient care, manage administrative tasks, and ensure a smooth flow of daily clinic activities. Key Responsibilities Assist physiotherapists with patient preparation, treatment setup. Support patients throughout their appointments, ensuring comfort, safety, and a positive experience. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized manner, following infection control protocols. Greet patients, manage check-ins and check-outs, and provide excellent customer service. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using Jane App clinic management software . Manage patient registrations, maintain accurate electronic health records, and handle clinic correspondence. Process billing, payments, invoices, and direct insurance claims, including ICBC and extended health benefits. Verify insurance coverage, manage treatment authorizations, and follow up on outstanding claims and payments. Respond professionally to phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries regarding appointments, billing, and clinic policies. Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, billing reconciliation, inventory management, and ordering supplies. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with clinic policies, privacy regulations, and professional standards. Collaborate with physiotherapists and team members to improve clinic workflows, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in a hospital, physiotherapy clinic, rehabilitation centre, or healthcare facility is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with Jane App, including scheduling, patient management, invoicing, and billing, is a strong asset. Knowledge of ICBC claims, direct billing, and extended health insurance procedures. Strong patient care, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
