This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse settings such as hospital, community, or LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacies, utilizing your expertise in pharmaceutical calculations, medication preparation, and regulatory compliance. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will assist with medication dispensing, IV compounding, and maintaining accurate patient records while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws. Your dedication to patient service and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional healthcare outcomes. Responsibilities Enter data into pharmacy software systems with precision to ensure correct medication records Maintain strict compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards and drug regulations Assist with medication inventory management, including stock replenishment and expiration checks Provide excellent patient service by answering medication-related questions and supporting patient care initiatives Ensure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA and other privacy laws Support hospital or community pharmacy operations through medication intake, drug regulation adherence, and customer service duties Qualifications Prior experience (at least 1 year) as a Pharmacy Technician in LTC, hospital, or community pharmacy settings is required Knowledge of critical care, acute care, or clinical pharmacy practices is advantageous Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required Familiarity with pharmaceutical calculations, pharmacological terminology, and aseptic techniques Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, drug regulation laws, and pharmacy laws at the federal level Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration is required..
