I am an Owner Operator for FedEx Ground and we are about to start a (AVP) Alternative Vehicle Program. Information about the program is as follows: Overstreet Logistics, Corporation Overstreet Logistics, Corporation is a Contracted Service Provider for FedEx Ground. We are looking for seasonal delivery drivers for our Alternative Vehicle Program (AVP). Our team maintains safety as a priority, has a service-oriented attitude, is reliable and organized, and possesses effective time management skills while complying with safety rules and policies. We are located at 3606 Foster Industrial Driver in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working. Qualifications: At least 21 years old with at least one year of driving experience Must have a valid driver’s license (commercial driver’s license is not required) Must be able to pass a background check & Motor Vehicle Record check 4-Door Cars, Station Wagons, SUVs, Minivans, 4-Door Pickup Trucks or Pickup Trucks with covered and secure beds. Vehicles must be Insured with a Current Registration Responsibilities: Arrive at the terminal and load packages for that delivery day. Deliver packages that are less than 5-10 pounds. Be courteous and provide excellent customer service. Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule Drivers will use a scanner and electronic routing on either an iPhone or an iPad provided by us for the day. When done drivers either go straight home or meet with a driver in the area first to drop off undelivered packages and equipment. Benefits: Work at your own pace, as long as you complete your route on schedule Make your own schedule and work your own hours!
