Parts Specialist – Forklift & Heavy Equipment / Inside Sales Southern Field Maintenance, LLC (SFM) – Victoria, TX Join a growing South Texas equipment dealership with over 40 years of success. Southern Field Maintenance (SFM) is a leading provider of forklift, material handling, and heavy equipment sales, service, rentals, and parts throughout South Texas. Headquartered in Victoria, TX, an additional location in Corpus Christi, we're expanding our team and looking for a motivated, customer-focused Parts Specialist to help support our continued growth. What You'll Do As our Parts Specialist, you'll play a critical role in keeping our customers' equipment running by: Assisting customers by phone and in person with parts inquiries and equipment issues Identifying forklift and heavy equipment parts using manuals, diagrams, and OEM systems Sourcing parts from multiple vendors to secure the best pricing and fastest delivery Preparing estimates for parts and repair work Processing orders, receiving inventory, and coordinating with the Service Department Creating and managing work orders and service documentation Following up with customers regarding quotes, parts availability, and order status Managing returns and maintaining organized inventory records Supporting parts sales growth through exceptional customer service What We're Looking For Preferred Experience: Forklift, heavy equipment, automotive, agricultural, or industrial parts experience Parts counter, inside sales, estimating, or service advisor experience Experience using computer-based parts lookup systems Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand equipment components Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Professional attitude and strong follow-up skills Valid driver's license Why Join Southern Field Maintenance? ✅ Competitive pay based on experience ✅ Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) ✅ Stable company with over 40 years in business ✅ Opportunity for career growth and advancement ✅ Team-focused environment where your contributions matter ✅ Work with industry-leading forklift and equipment brands The Ideal Candidate You are someone who: Enjoys helping customers find solutions Takes pride in staying organized and following through Has a sense of urgency and attention to detail Wants to build a long-term career with a growing company Thrives in a team environment while working independently Apply Today If you're looking for an opportunity to join a respected, growing company and build a rewarding career in the equipment industry, we'd love to hear from you.
