Role Description The Shipping, Stock Room and Parts Order Expediter is a temp to hire position based at our head office in East Haven, CT. This is an entry level role supporting our parts sales department. You will pick, pack and ship customer parts orders, log inventory and make sure critical orders get out the door fast. Many of the parts we ship keep a customer's production line running, so speed and accuracy matter. You will work directly with the operations and spares sales teams to move each order from the shelf to the carrier on time. No prior experience, systems knowledge or product knowledge is required and we will train you. Strong performers will have the opportunity to move into a permanent position with Thermatool. Responsibilities Picking parts orders from the stock room for the parts sales department Packaging parts securely so they arrive undamaged Shipping customer orders with the correct labels and packing lists Working with operations and spares sales to expedite critical orders to customers Logging inventory as parts come in and go out Keeping the stock room and shipping area clean, safe and organized Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Attention to detail and accuracy Able to lift parts packages and stand for extended periods Reliable, on time and willing to learn No systems or product knowledge needed Pay and Benefits $17 to $18 per hour based on experience Temp to hire On the job training To apply, submit your interest and resume with a brief note about why you are interested in the role.
