Parts Manager- Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck
Lake Arbor Automotive & TruckParts Manager — Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck is looking for the right person to take ownership of everything parts in our shop. And when we say everything parts, we mean it. Finding them. Quoting them. Ordering them. Tracking them. Checking them in. Returning them. Stocking them. Making sure the right part gets to the right technician for the right vehicle at the right time. Sounds simple enough, right? Anyone who has worked around a busy automotive repair shop knows it isn't. We're looking for someone who is extremely detail-oriented, an exceptional communicator, organized, resourceful, and comfortable moving at a pretty serious pace. There will be a lot happening at once, and we're looking for someone who actually enjoys that. If you're the type of person who likes to stay busy and wants the workday to fly by, you may have just found your job. So, who are we looking for? We want someone who takes ownership. Someone who doesn't just order a part and forget about it. You know where it is, when it's supposed to arrive, whether it's correct, and who needs to know if something changes. You understand that finding the right part matters just as much as finding a part in the first place. You can balance quality, availability, price, and timing while keeping the needs of the customer, technician, advisor, and shop in mind. And above almost everything else, you communicate. Parts delayed? Communicate it. Wrong part showed up? Communicate it. Found a better option? Communicate it. Something doesn't look right? Speak up. The Parts Manager sits right in the middle of a lot of moving pieces, and great communication can be the difference between a vehicle sitting and a vehicle leaving. Here's where it gets interesting. We're not looking for someone to simply step into a position and follow a process someone else created. We're building this position into something better. There is a foundation, but the right person will have the opportunity to help create the systems, organization, and processes that make our parts operation great. We want someone who sees a better way and helps us build it. Someone who catches the details others miss, solves problems before they become bigger problems, and takes pride in making the entire shop run better. That's really what we're doing at Lake Arbor Automotive as a whole — building something great. We care about people, we do the right thing, and we're building a shop full of people who are good at what they do, care about the people around them, and want to be part of something they're proud of. This will be a demanding position. It will be busy. Some days you'll probably feel like you're juggling ten things at once. But for the right person, that's exactly what makes it fun. If you're organized, sharp, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and get a little satisfaction out of making a hundred moving pieces come together exactly as they should, we would love to hear from you.
