Parts Manager Burr Ridge, IL | Leadership Opportunity | Multi-Site Operations This is more than a traditional parts management role. Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members while fostering a positive, customer-focused culture. Oversee inventory management, purchasing, stocking levels, and inventory accuracy. Monitor stock orders, emergency orders, back orders, and special-order parts. Analyze inventory performance and implement strategies to reduce excess and obsolete inventory. Conduct cycle counts and oversee annual physical inventories. Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments. Provide exceptional service by helping customers identify, source, and order the parts they need. Ensure efficient departmental operations through effective scheduling and workload management. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of parts department experience, preferably within heavy equipment, construction equipment, agriculture, trucking, or industrial equipment industries. 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of inventory control and parts management best practices. Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office. Outstanding communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
