As a Parts Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Parts department, ensuring efficient operations, excellent customer experiences, and profitable results. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Parts department to ensure smooth and profitable performance Assist customers with parts sales both in person and over the phone, providing knowledgeable and friendly service Process parts orders accurately and efficiently Maintain organized and attractive in-store merchandising of parts inventory Conduct regular cycle counts and manage inventory levels Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices Identify required replacement parts based on inspections, customer requests, or descriptions of equipment malfunctions Advise customers on alternative or modified parts when identical replacements are unavailable Prepare sales slips or contracts and handle payment processing Store and organize parts in stockrooms according to established systems Facilitate and coordinate the timely delivery of parts to the service department, reducing repair turnaround times and expediting the return of equipment to the field Coach, train, and formally evaluate department employees to support their growth and performance Develop, implement, and monitor operating plans for the department Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Fundamental computer skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Reliable and highly motivated Previous experience in a parts or retail environment is a plus, but not requiredwilling to train the right candidate Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Performance-based bonuses 401(k) retirement plan Clothing allowance Employee discounts Life insurance Health insurance Other comprehensive benefits Offered compensation: $65,000/yr - $80,000/yr Experience and License Requirements Customer Service Supervisor/Management (optional)
