Glenn Buege ChevroletParts Manager General Motors Dealership | Full-Time We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive parts knowledge, dealership experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage inventory, profitability, and customer service. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership Parts Department. Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, returns, and obsolescence. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and utilize GM RIM and other GM parts-management systems. Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate Parts Department employees. Work closely with Service, Body Shop, and Sales departments to ensure parts are available when needed. Develop and maintain wholesale and retail parts business. Build strong relationships with GM, vendors, suppliers, and wholesale customers. Monitor department sales, gross profit, expenses, and other key performance indicators. Ensure accurate billing, warranty parts procedures, and compliance with GM dealership standards. Maintain excellent customer service and resolve parts-related customer concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient Parts Department. Qualifications Previous automotive dealership Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager experience preferred. General Motors dealership experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of GM parts, catalogs, ordering systems, and dealership operations. Experience with GM RIM or similar inventory-management programs. Proven ability to manage inventory and control expenses. Strong leadership and employee-development skills. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Computer proficiency and experience with dealership management systems.
