Company Overview Walkers Rig Welding is a dynamic welding fabrication company based out of Nisku, specializing in maintaining and building drilling rigs. We are committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and reliable service to our clients in the oilfield industry. Overview Walkers Rig Welding is looking to fill a parts/fuel truck driver in our crew. The specific requirements of this job are nothing more than a class 5 with a clean record. Our ideal driver will be comfortable and competent with bigger trucks (F550 w/10' deck) and trailers from 10' to 30'. A normal day will mainly consist of driving our fuel truck to different sites around Nisku to refuel/restock our welding trucks in the field, miscellaneous deliveries of materials and supply's to our field welders, and usually a handful of pickups and deliveries almost always within the Edmonton area. A small amount of paper work will be required to keep track of fuel and materials dropped off, truck housekeeping is mandatory, and driving responsibility is non negotiable. When not in the truck you will be assisting in the shop with general cleanup, inventory, washing trucks, etc. Fueling outside in the elements through the winter can get cold so winter work gear is very strongly recommended. If our new hire is interested we would consider welder training based on their performance, however this job is primarily focused on being a parts driver.
