Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service. Follow up on customer orders and inquiries to ensure satisfaction. Inventory Management: Maintain knowledge of parts inventory, ensuring the availability of essential items for quick delivery. Order and restock parts as necessary, working closely with suppliers and manufacturers. Keep track of inventory levels and assist in managing stock to avoid shortages or overstock. Organize and maintain parts in the storage area to ensure easy access and proper organization. Technical Support and Product Knowledge: Provide technical support to customers by explaining how specific parts work and their function within a truck. Stay updated on new parts, technologies, and trends in the commercial truck industry. Assist with troubleshooting and help customers understand the technical aspects of their parts needs. Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately, including online, phone, and in-person orders. Prepare and ensure proper shipping or delivery arrangements for ordered parts. Maintain customer records and ensure proper documentation for all sales transactions. Coordination with Service and Parts Departments: Collaborate with the service department to identify parts required for truck repairs and maintenance. Work with the parts department to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Assist technicians and mechanics in finding the correct parts during repair processes. Pricing and Quotes: Provide accurate pricing information and generate quotes for customers. Process returns and exchanges based on dealership policy. Record Keeping and Reporting: Keep detailed records of sales, customer interactions, and parts inventory. Prepare reports on sales performance and inventory levels to management.
