Parts Associate

Job description: GEN-TECH is a full service Industrial Generator and Air Compressor Company with three locations across Arizona and Southern Nevada. Our Tucson, Arizona office has openings for Parts Associate position, which provides daily support to our customers as well as comprehend input from field service technicians, identify replacement parts, understand technical manuals to identify replacement parts. Candidate for this position must possess excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills with the ability to work independently. Previous experience with; Generator/Automotive/Industrial parts identification and procurement preferred. Duties/Responsibilities Accept, qualify, and process Parts incoming calls. Support both internal and external parts business. Based on equipment model and serial number, research and identify specific parts required for customer orders, and service repairs. Determine price and availability and prepare quotes as required. Correctly document all parts transactions including and not limited to: purchase orders, customer invoices, service billing, inter-branch transfers, returns to vendor, core processing, etc. Forklift Operation: Material handling, equipment organization. Requirements Excellent phone, communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Ability to work well with others and promote a team concept and environment. Ability to handle and manage stressful situations. Microsoft word, excel, access and outlook. Basic Technical Abilities. Electrical, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, and Industrial background a plus. Possess appropriate math skills Professional Safety Training backgrounds a plus.
