Parts and Inventory Procurement Specialist

Job Overview Nuhn Industries Ltd. is a family-owned agricultural manufacturing company, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Parts and Inventory Procurement Specialist to join our team and fill a current vacancy. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring stock levels, coordinating replenishment activities, and supporting purchasing requirements to ensure parts, consumables, and other materials are available when needed. The successful candidate will help keep inventory organized, properly stocked, and accurately tracked while supporting production and customer requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy investigations Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to ensure parts, consumables, and production materials remain adequately stocked Receive, verify, label, stock, and organize inventory in designated storage locations, ensuring materials are easily accessible and properly identified Maintain inventory storage areas, including shelves, bins, labels, and locations, ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment Manage and support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs, including inventory reviews, replenishment monitoring, and inventory accuracy audits Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to resolve inventory shortages, stock discrepancies, damaged materials, and other inventory-related concerns Additional Responsibilities Support purchasing activities related to inventory replenishment and stock requirements Assist with inventory returns, warranty claims, repairs, and replacement items as required Maintain accurate inventory and location information within the ERP system Qualifications: Previous experience in procurement or purchasing (experience in the agriculture or manufacturing industry is a strong asset) Strong negotiation and communication skills Proficiency with accounting software (experience with Quickbooks is an asset) Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of agricultural equipment or manufacturing processes is a plus Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift (Monday to Friday) Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Overtime opportunities available Compensation & Benefits $26–$35/hour (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Health & dental benefits Stable, full-time, year-round employment Opportunities for advancement within a growing company Work Location: In person Hiring Process We use a combination of tools, including technology-assisted screening, to review applications efficiently.
