Parts Advisor

Horst Systems is hiring a Parts Advisor to support our operations at our Elmira location. This is a vacant position currently available and is full-time permanent working approximately 50 hours per week on a straight day shift , Monday through Friday. In this role, you’ll play an important part in Maintaining Inventory accuracy, conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and support physical inventory processes and more to support our teams. (Time and a half after 44 hours). Monday to Friday work schedule Year end bonus, Annual Wage Reviews Paid training and development Health care spending account and company pension plan Key Responsibilities Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct regular audits and cycle counts, and support physical inventory processes Source and sell parts and accessories to retail, wholesale, internal, in-person, phone, and electronic customers; identify the correct parts and solutions. Ensure required parts are ordered daily based on Supervisor and Technician requests and provide accurate availability, pricing, application, and warranty information. Complete orders for Service Technicians, support technician and customer needs, and ensure required parts are available for service work Establish and maintain relationships with approved suppliers regarding ordering, availability, and pricing. Ensure parts are properly billed to work orders, and that unrequired parts and cores are returned accurately and promptly Coordinate deliveries or travel to pick up required parts or supplies for urgent needs; assist with receiving incoming parts and materials, verifying quantities and condition, and complete warehouse duties as required to support operations What You Bring Parts, inventory, customer service, service department, or equipment-related experience Parts and applications/parts ordering and inventory control Pricing/invoicing; work order billing and use of inventory/business systems experience paired with the ability to interpret manufacturer and supplier information Experience within Auto or Agriculture Industries is considered an asset.
