Part Time Warehouse Associate

POSITION SUMMARY The Part Time Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including picking orders, shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. This role is the gateway to a future career for an individual with the right motivation, drive and initiative. KEY RESPONSABILITIES: Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with ECCO’s receiving procedures Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directed Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment Pick/ship goods to customers in a efficiently and accurately manner Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shipping Fill out/prepare picking tickets Assist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessary Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all times ·Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to your supervisor Participate in yearly inventory count Other duties as deemed necessary by Management QUALIFICATIONS : HVAC experience an asset Post-Secondary Education an asset Physically capable of lifting up to 50lb Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a team Strong sense of time organization and urgency Good written and verbal communication skills Desire to be a long term employee and contribute to the company’s overall success Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week Benefits: Dental care Extended health care RRSP match Application question(s): Are you able to commit to up to 20 hours per week?
