Part-Time Vending Operations Associate

Position Overview The Part-Time Vending Operations Associate will manage machine restocking, inventory tracking, emergency service requests, operational reporting, and performance improvement recommendations. This role requires someone who can independently complete assigned responsibilities, identify operational challenges, and contribute practical solutions to improve machine performance. Key Responsibilities1. Vending Machine Restocking Restock vending machines according to assigned schedules. Maintain product organization, availability, and proper rotation. Monitor product expiration dates using FIFO procedures. Identify low-stock and high-demand products. Maintain machine cleanliness and presentation. Conduct basic machine inspections during servicing. 2. Inventory Management Maintain accurate product inventory and restocking records. Track product transfers, damages, shortages, and expirations. Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment quantities. Identify slow-moving and high-performing products. Maintain organized inventory storage. Submit accurate inventory reports to management. 3. Emergency Call Handling Respond to assigned emergency service calls within established response expectations. Address basic product jams, dispensing issues, and customer concerns. Troubleshoot minor operational problems within training limits. Escalate technical or financial issues to management when necessary. Document service calls, actions taken, and outcomes. Communicate professionally with location representatives. 4. Operational Reports & Strategy Plans Complete assigned weekly and monthly operational reports. Prepare machine restocking and inventory performance summaries. Analyze product sales velocity and identify slow-moving products. Recommend product changes to improve sales and reduce waste. Develop basic restocking and inventory optimization strategies. Identify recurring service issues and recommend preventive measures. Prepare actionable improvement plans for assigned vending locations. Present operational observations, recommendations, and progress updates to management. Assist in implementing approved operational strategies and tracking results. Schedule & Work Environment Flexible part-time hours based on operational demands. Scheduled vending machine visits. Occasional weekend and emergency service assignments.
