Part Time Truck Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Manage route driving with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while optimizing delivery times. Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on routes. Experience SAP-friendly. Proven experience in commercial truck driving. Experience operating automatic transmission vehicles. Prior delivery driver experience handling freight in various settings is preferred. Knowledge of refrigerated trailers is a plus. Experience navigating both urban and rural routes. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Pay Paid a percentage of the load, plus accessorial pay. Detention pay available. Layover pay available. Earn more without chasing miles.
