Part-Time School Transportation Driver

Overview We are a private family seeking reliable, responsible drivers to provide school transportation for our 13-year-old son. This is a recurring, part-time opportunity with a predictable every-other-week schedule. We welcome applicants interested in morning transportation, afternoon transportation, or both. The position offers flexibility, particularly during afternoon hours, and may be ideal for college students, retirees, or individuals seeking supplemental income. Schedule Morning Transportation Pick up our son from our home on Mud Island. Transport him to his middle school in Germantown. School begins at 8:00 AM, and he must arrive by 7:45 AM. Morning pickup time is flexible, provided he arrives by the required time. Estimated driving time: 30 minutes. Afternoon Transportation Pick up our son from a designated location in Germantown. He typically arrives at his neighborhood bus stop around 3:30 PM and may spend time at a nearby friend’s home. Pickup time is flexible after approximately 3:30 PM. He must arrive home on Mud Island no later than 6:00 PM. Estimated driving time: 45–50 minutes, depending on traffic. Schedule : Transportation is needed every other week during the school year, generally Monday through Friday. Applicants may express interest in either shift or both. Ability to complete a background check Compensation $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and assigned schedule. Paid working time and any mileage reimbursement will be discussed before hiring.
