Part-Time Jewelry Fulfillment & Ecommerce Assistant

Near downtown Olympia, WA | In-person W-2 position | 8–10 hours/week Starting $20–$22/hour DOE | Growth opportunity up to $25/hour About the Role The Blissful Co. is a small independent jewelry company seeking a highly reliable, detail-oriented person to join our Olympia jewelry studio. The consistent core of this position is hands-on jewelry fulfillment: learning our product line, inspecting and preparing jewelry, doing light assembly, and accurately packing and shipping online orders. Once you are trained and fulfillment work is complete, the remaining scheduled time will gradually be used for ecommerce and studio projects such as updating product listings, preparing images and files, assisting with customer service, and maintaining product information. This creates a mix of predictable hands-on work and varied ecommerce projects . As you demonstrate accuracy, efficiency, strong judgment, and independence, the role and pay can grow accordingly. Initial Responsibilities Pick, inspect, prepare, and pack online jewelry orders accurately and efficiently Check jewelry for flaws, symmetry, finish, and overall quality Perform light jewelry assembly, including measuring and cutting chain, attaching jump rings, and assembling necklaces Polish, clean, and make minor jewelry adjustments as needed Accurately work with similar styles, SKU numbers, sizes, metals, and product variations Restock packaging supplies and help keep the studio organized The jewelry work involves light assembly only—not fabrication or silversmithing . Required Qualifications You should: Have some previous exposure to basic jewelry making or jewelry assembly Be comfortable using jewelry pliers and understand fundamentals such as properly opening and closing a jump ring Have strong fine-motor skills and genuinely enjoy detailed hands-on craft work Have a strong artistic eye and notice small differences in quality, proportion, finish, and presentation Be highly accurate when working with numbers, product codes, sizes, metals, and similar-looking items Be comfortable with computers and able to learn new applications quickly Have strong reading comprehension and clear written communication skills Be organized, dependable, efficient, and able to work independently once trained Be resourceful and willing to use AI and other tools appropriately to help research and solve everyday work problems Have good judgment about when to solve something independently and when to ask for help Helpful Experience Especially helpful—but not required—is experience with: Etsy, Shopify, or another ecommerce platform Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet software Canva or other simple design/ imge editing tools *An interest in jewelry, art, design, or other detailed creative work is a strong plus. Growth Potential As you become familiar with the jewelry line and demonstrate strong accuracy, efficiency, judgment, and independence, responsibilities - and pay - will increase. Expanded responsibilities will include: Creating and updating ecommerce product listings Cropping, naming, organizing, and uploading product images Making simple graphics or text overlays in Canva Responding to routine customer-service messages using established policies Helping troubleshoot everyday ecommerce and operational issues You are not expected to know all of these systems when you start . Training and additional responsibilities will be added gradually. Schedule & Pay 8–10 hours per week , depending on weekly order volume Hours may increase somewhat during the holiday sales rush Two consistent weekday shifts: Monday & Thursday or Tuesday & Friday.
