Part Time Forklift operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This is a part time position with a start time of 4:30pm and finishing at 8:30pm during weekdays ( Monday - Friday). You must be available all 5 days. The maximum hours per week will be 23 hours -there may be some days where you are required to stay past 8:30 and others where you will be leaving early. This is solely based on the amount of work and volumes for that day. Responsibilities - Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse - Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks - Safely handle products and materials while operating the forklift - Assist with general warehouse duties as needed -Assist senior forklift operator in cross docks, loading, and unloading of trailers -Assist senior forklift operator in identifying and labeling freight Requirements - Prior experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role - Knowledge of warehouse distribution procedures - Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate in a fast-paced environment - Basic math skills for inventory tracking and - Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $21.00 per hour Work Location: In person
