This position is responsible for driving MGA-owned buses for the transportation of students, faculty, and staff to and from scheduled events.

ner. Obey all traffic laws and operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route. Complete odometer and other reports as requested by Facilities Operations. Communicate with requestor to ensure knowledge of destination and route to be taken. Ensure vehicle is fueled at pickup and drop off locations as scheduled. Notify Facilities Operations within one business day of any incidents that could impact personal or professional driving record (accidents, moving violations, DUI, etc.) In case of an emergency while operating an MGA vehicle, immediately report any incidents, tickets or accidents to Facilities Operations Office or Police Department (in the case of after-hours or weekend incidents)
Required Experience 5 years experience driving Other Required Qualifications Commercial Driving License is mandatory No at-fault accidents in the last 3 years Clean driving record (no traffic citations in last 3 years) Ability to carry out assigned route in the time frame required Excellent communication skills
General knowledge and skills required to operate a bus. Knowledge of and ability to report mechanical failures that may occur according to set procedures.
