Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers according to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across assigned territories Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure truck safety and compliance with DOT standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during trip Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and recent experience in commercial truck driving experience with tanker trucks and roll-off preferred Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and perform manual handling tasks safely Strong commitment to safety protocols and compliance with all trucking laws related to hazardous goods and dangerous materials Embark on a rewarding journey as a Part-Time CDL A Driver where your skills drive success!
