Your voice, your attitude, and the way you handle that first conversation help customers feel confident they called the right company. Paluska Plumbing is looking for a friendly, dependable, organized dispatcher who enjoys helping people and keeping a busy day running smoothly. You’ll be the first face and voice of our company and an important connection between our customers and our plumbers. If you enjoy talking with people, putting the pieces of a schedule together, and the satisfaction of getting everyone where they need to be, this could be your kind of work. What you’ll do Welcome customers with a positive, professional attitude. Answer calls and respond to voicemails, emails, texts, and online service requests. Turn customer inquiries into scheduled appointments by listening, gathering information, and explaining the next step. Keep our plumbers’ schedules organized, realistic, and flowing throughout the day. Double-check job notes, customer information, and appointment details in Housecall Pro. Request and organize photos when needed so our plumbers arrive prepared. Keep customers and teammates updated when schedules change. Respond to customer reviews and work with management on concerns. Follow through on open questions and requests so customers aren’t left wondering what happens next. You’ll focus on great communication and getting the right help scheduled. Who will do well here You’re someone who: Has a friendly phone presence and makes people feel heard. Enjoys staying organized while handling several moving parts. Notices details and follows through without repeated reminders. Stays calm when the phone rings, a job runs long, or plans change. Is comfortable using computers and learning scheduling software. Takes feedback well and works respectfully with others. Shows up consistently, arrives on time, and is ready to support the team. Customer service, scheduling, dispatch, or office experience is helpful. Familiarity with Housecall Pro is a plus.
