The core responsibilities of the role include: Package products and perform quality checks to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production. Position: Packaging Operator II Shift: First Shift Hours: 7am-3pm Days: Monday-Friday Pay: $18.95 per hour Required Qualifications: A minimum of 6 months using an RF Scanner Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 6 months working in a warehouse environment; Previous experience using a dock stocker and order picker forklift. Shape your world. Role Purpose : Efficiently operates packaging lines according to established procedures and customer specifications, while meeting all quality standards. Key Accountabilities : Package product into bags, boxes, or totes per customer specifications. Document quality checks and enter into the system. Read and disseminate information on the product specifications and packaging requirements. Pull product samples and test product mix, labeling and or weight against specs. Follow all safety, environmental and quality guidelines. Maintain housekeeping duties around packaging equipment and in warehouse. Responsible for lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance. Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain finished product conformity to specs.
