Owner Operator/Hotshot Driver

Your expertise in handling different types of cargo, including general freight, commercial/industrial equipment, and hazardous (if you have CDL A hazmat endorsement) materials, will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This position offers the independence and flexibility of managing your own schedule while being an integral part of our logistics network. Responsibilities Safely operate truck with gooseneck trailer attached to transport freight over long distances and local routes Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries and optimal routing Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations at all times Manage over-the-road (OTR) driving routes efficiently, maintaining schedules and communicating proactively with dispatch teams Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance throughout each trip Must pass drug test Clean driving history Must pass DOT Physical Military DD214 (Honorable Discharge) Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving in various environments Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods Proficient in GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Ability to load & unload freight accurately while adhering to logistics cargo handling procedures (95% of the time shipper and receiver loads/unloads) Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service excellence Equipment Need Must have truck and trailer Ratchet Straps Tarps Chains and binders (this opens up more deliver opportunities Gloves, safety glasses, boots, reflective vest This role is designed for motivated military veterans; drivers eager to take charge of their careers while delivering critical freight safely across diverse routes.
