Job Summary "Owner-Operator Cargo Van Driver - $300 per day" Partner with our dynamic logistics network as an independent Owner-Operator Cargo Van Driver and become the vital link between our hub and valued commercial clients! In this high-earning, contract-based role, you will use your own cargo van to safely transport products, merchandise, and supplies to various retail locations. Applicants must own or lease a reliable cargo van suitable for commercial deliveries. Mid-roof or high-roof vans are accepted. Preferred vehicle makes and models: Dodge Ram ProMaster Ford Transit Your van must have adequate cargo space for deliveries and be properly registered, maintained, and insured with the required commercial auto coverage. Important: Drivers must provide their own cargo van and pay for their own fuel and vehicle operating expenses. Gas is not provided by the company. Duties & Responsibilities Vehicle Ownership: Safely operate and maintain your own personal or leased cargo van (high-roof Sprinter, Transit, Promaster, or similar standard cargo van preferred). Route Execution: Efficiently manage and execute delivery routes using strong organizational skills to maximize your daily productivity and meet critical deadlines. Load Management: Oversee the loading and unloading of merchandise or supplies, utilizing safe lifting practices and equipment for heavy lifting when necessary. Client Relations: Communicate clearly with retail partners upon delivery, providing professional customer service and representing the network with excellence. Business Growth: Proactively upsell or introduce additional products and services to clients when appropriate to enhance satisfaction and boost your route's performance. Compliance & Safety: Maintain your vehicle in optimal, DOT-compliant condition, ensuring all personal commercial insurance and registration requirements are kept up to date. Requirements & Qualifications Equipment: Must own, lease, or operate a reliable cargo van with adequate cargo space for retail merchandise. Experience: Prior experience in route delivery, courier services, or freight transport is preferred but not mandatory. Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage independent contract work, route schedules, and professional customer relationships. Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple retail drops efficiently while maintaining strict attention to detail. Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and active commercial auto insurance policy (or willingness to obtain necessary coverage limits).
