JOB DETAILS: 26 FT box truck OTR routes throughout the midwest and east coast 90% dock to dock freight 10% touch freight 1099 independent contractor position Paid every Friday Overview As an Over-the-Road Non-CDL Box Truck Driver, you’ll move shipments safely and reliably between locations and deliver them to customers. You’ll drive a box truck on assigned routes, handle freight, and provide helpful service at each stop. This role suits a dependable driver who is comfortable with travel, physical work, and changing delivery needs. Duties Drive a box truck over the road and on local delivery routes, following traffic regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements that apply to the role. Load and unload freight, use a pallet jack and other material handling equipment, and secure items for transport. Lift and move materials using safe lifting practices and follow workplace weight-handling procedures. Complete deliveries to homes or businesses, including personal vehicle delivery when assigned; communicate professionally with customers. Use mobile devices to review route details, record delivery information, and report shipment or vehicle concerns. Experience Delivery driver, courier, van driver, or warehouse experience is helpful; experience in warehouse operations and material handling is a plus. Familiarity with commercial driving, commercial truck driving, route driving, delivery driving, and box trucks is preferred. Ability to drive safely, including a manual transmission when required, and to handle physical work such as heavy lifting. Customer service skills, attention to detail, and a reliable approach to moving and handling freight are important. This is a non-CDL position; applicants must meet applicable driving and DOT requirements. Pay: $800.00 - $1,300.00 per week Work Location: In person
