We offer late-model, assigned equipment designed with driver comfort in mind. We are the dedicated carrier for Hughes Furniture Industries. Our drivers deliver freight throughout the East Coast and Midwest (no Long Island deliveries). Full-time driver benefits include: $60,000 – $80,000 per year Mileage pay up to $0.55-$0.60 CPM Stop pay-$25.00/STOP beginning with second stop Layover pay-$100.00 Tailgate pay -$1.00/piece Detention Pay-$25.00/hour after the second hour Assigned equipment (no slip seating) Automatic transmission Direct deposit Overview : The primary function of the Driver is to safely and efficiently transport and deliver furniture to customer locations using a tractor-trailer. This is a hands-on, touch-freight position that requires unloading furniture at every stop using proper handling techniques. Drivers will operate under varied conditions, communicate regularly with dispatch, complete all required paperwork, and comply with all DOT Hours of Service and safety regulations. This role requires consistent effort and attention to detail to ensure safe, timely, and damage-free deliveries.
