OTR Dry van Dispatcher

Join our dynamic logistics team as an OTR Dry Van Dispatcher Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch long-haul dry van freight shipments, ensuring optimal routing and adherence to delivery schedules. Use transportation management systems to dispatch software to assign loads, monitor progress, and update statuses in real-time. Communicate effectively with drivers with instructions, updates, and support throughout their routes. Manage route planning, tracking vehicle locations, and analyzing transportation data to improve efficiency. Collaborate with supply chain teams to coordinate freight movements, resolve issues promptly, and optimize fleet utilization. Qualifications 2 year or better experience in dispatch within a supply chain OTR environment. Strong knowledge of transportation planning principles Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette Basic understanding of DOT regulations related to driver hours of service and safety standards.
