OTR Class A CDL Driver
US Freight Logistics LLCUS Freight Logistics LLC is seeking an OTR Class A CDL Driver to support long-haul freight transportation, dispatching from North Las Vegas, NV. Position Summary This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement (not W-2 employment) for a safety-focused OTR Class A CDL Driver to operate a commercial vehicle on long-haul routes and deliver freight in accordance with applicable regulations and established operating standards. The work emphasizes safe driving practices, responsible cargo handling, and accurate documentation throughout each trip. This position requires extended time on the road ; it is not a remote or home-based role. Truck and trailer equipment, along with a fuel card, are provided by the company — drivers are not responsible for equipment costs or fronting fuel expenses. Home Time Flexible — drivers coordinate directly with dispatch when they'd like to return home. Most drivers request home time after approximately 3 weeks on the road, though this can be arranged sooner based on driver preference and route availability. Compensation $0.65–$0.75/mile , based on experience — paid per completed round trip via direct deposit Estimated $2,800–$3,500/week based on typical OTR mileage and experience-based rate Rate is negotiable for drivers with strong OTR experience and clean safety records Company-provided truck, trailer, and fuel card — no equipment or fuel costs deducted from pay As a 1099 contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes Key Responsibilities Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely over long distances, following all traffic laws and transportation regulations Transport freight while ensuring proper vehicle condition checks, load security, and adherence to loading/unloading procedures Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation, including delivery confirmations and required compliance records Monitor route progress, manage time effectively, and address operational issues professionally as they arise Communicate with dispatch to coordinate pickups, deliveries, home time, and any route or schedule changes Required Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record Ability to complete long-haul routes and perform driving duties with a strong safety mindset Knowledge of DOT and commercial driving compliance expectations, including log keeping requirements Experience securing cargo and conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections Reliable communication skills and the ability to complete trip documentation accurately Preferred Qualifications Prior OTR driving experience with freight transportation (dry van and/or refrigerated) Familiarity with standard freight documentation and delivery processes Strong attention to detail regarding safety, cargo condition, and compliance records Experience working independently to manage timelines and route execution effectively About Us US Freight Logistics LLC is a licensed motor carrier (MC 1314518 / USDOT 3727542) operating throughout the United States.
