OTR CDL-A Truck Driver Hauling Boats 2+ Years Experience

G-Diamond Transport is a small trucking company that is family owned and operated. Our drivers see and spend time along some of the most beautiful coastlines and lake fronts in North America. Semi Drivers make $.70 per mile, Stinger Drivers make $.80 per mile, all miles plus passport incentive of $.01 per mile. Additional benefits include, Health dental and vision insurance, simple IRA with company match. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, across extensive routes to deliver freight on time. Load and unload cargo, utilizing specialized trailers. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement. Manage route driving efficiently while adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and dealers regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered on the road. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical concerns promptly to ensure optimal performance. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery and route management. 2 year verifiable previous CDL A experience Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement standards. Excellent navigation skills for route planning and execution across diverse terrains. Strong communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch teams and clients.
