Concrete Order Taker / Dispatcher JDM Materials, Co. is a busy ready-mix concrete supplier serving multiple locations throughout Northeastern and Southeastern Pennsylvania. We are seeking an experienced Concrete Order Taker / Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the ready-mix concrete industry, concrete dispatching, or a fast-paced dispatch environment . Knowledge of concrete operations, customer scheduling, delivery coordination, and working with a fleet of ready-mix trucks is a strong plus. Position Requirements Previous experience in ready-mix concrete dispatching or concrete order taking is strongly preferred Dispatch experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively communicate with customers, drivers, sales personnel, batch plant personnel, and management Ability to prioritize and manage multiple orders and deliveries simultaneously Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to quickly respond to changing schedules, job-site conditions, customer needs, and delivery requirements Prepares daily work schedules and assigns workloads based on customer and operational needs Maintains communication with drivers and plant personnel to help ensure timely deliveries Provides exceptional customer service and works to resolve scheduling and delivery issues efficiently Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to assist wherever needed Must be a strong team player Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by management What We Offer We offer a competitive salary and generous benefits package , including: Group Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Plan Pre-employment drug screening is required.
