Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary liaison between the steel building sales office and the steel building manufacturer.
• Process and coordinate orders from the sales stage through manufacturing and delivery.
• Work closely with upper management and the sales team to ensure all project details, pricing, specifications and timelines are accurate.
• Communicate with manufacturers and vendors regarding orders, pricing, production schedules, changes, shipping and delivery timelines.
• Use strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to resolve pricing, scheduling, order and project issues.
• Review sales orders and project information for accuracy and completeness before submitting orders to the manufacturer.
• Track project status and follow up regularly to ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain organized and accurate project files, documentation and correspondence.
• Track vendor invoices, bills and payments and ensure records are kept up to date.
• Coordinate and follow up on outstanding vendor documentation and payment requirements.
• Communicate project updates and potential issues to management and the sales team.
• Assist with coordinating changes, revisions and special requirements throughout the project.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and other business partners.
• Identify potential issues before they become problems and proactively communicate solutions.
• Support the sales team and management with administrative, project coordination and order-processing duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
• Previous sales, order processing, purchasing, project coordination or customer service experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Extremely detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable communicating with vendors, manufacturers, salespeople, customers and senior management.
• Strong computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to review documents, pricing and project details carefully and identify discrepancies.
• Professional, confident and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as an important part of a team.
Assets
• Knowledge or experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with steel buildings, pre-engineered buildings, building materials or construction sales.
• Previous experience dealing directly with manufacturers or suppliers.
• Experience with vendor invoicing, accounts payable or payment tracking.
• Experience reading construction-related documents, drawings or specifications.

The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping communication flowing between sales, management and the manufacturer, helping ensure every project is processed accurately, efficiently and on schedule.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
