Title: Order Processing & Operations Location: Cumming, Iowa (7 miles South of Des Moines, just off I-35) Hours: 8-5pm Mon-Fri (Weekends Off!!) FT / PT / Temp - Flexible Hours Compensation: TBD / Negotiable Looking for a long term, stable opportunity? While this is an “office” position requiring daily phone and keyboard usage, there’s also a fair amount of “hands-on” daily work activity as well. Read on for more details. Skills: The ideal candidate for this position would be someone with a dynamic blend of skills. Someone who is comfortable performing a variety of tasks including processing sales orders, pulling parts, packing boxes, and processing shipments. Computer & Office Machine: Our operations team utilizes a variety of Windows and cloud based software platforms, a VOIP office phone system and a couple of printer types. Multi-tasking: We need someone able to juggle multiple tasks/efforts simultaneously and keep things rolling smoothly. Customer Interaction: General phone, e-mail, and occasional face to face customer interaction skills are desired. Accuracy: Able to accurately handle tasks, documents, and e-mail communication. Accuracy and attention to detail is important! Physically Able: Must be able to able to lift up to 50lbs, kneel, bend and reach. Interpersonal: Must be able to work well with and get along with other team members. Interacting in a mutually respectful manner allows us to function effectively as a team. Typical Duties: Processing Orders: monitoring, entering, processing customer orders. Shipping: Processing all inbound and outbound shipping. Inventory: Monitoring inventory and sourcing/ordering parts from various vendors. Daily learning: ongoing learning of business operation. Customer Inquiries & Interaction: phone, email, online portal & face to face. Requirements: Be a team player with reliable transportation and a willingness to show up.
