Order Picker

Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Order Picker, where your energy and precision will drive efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. In this vital role, you will operate various heavy equipment and manual handling tools to accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Responsibilities Safely operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to pick and move inventory efficiently Use barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately identify, locate, and select items for order fulfillment Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, packing, and stock replenishment while adhering to safety protocols and PPE use Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper stacking and storage of materials in designated areas Conduct quality control checks during picking and packing processes to maintain product accuracy and integrity Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning for logistics, shipping & receiving documentation, and regular stock counts Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing products for shipment, packaging orders securely, and preparing items for dispatch Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in order picking, packing, shipping & receiving Hands-on operation of warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklift trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, barcode scanning technology for logistics Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use, manual handling techniques, heavy lifting procedures, and equipment operation standards Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing tasks Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required; a strong team-oriented attitude is essential Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards in order fulfillment and quality control Join us in a role that keeps our supply chain moving smoothly!
