Order Fulfillment Associate

Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Order Fulfillment Associate, where your energy and precision will drive the seamless processing of customer orders. In this vital role, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency. Duties Accurately pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning and RF scanners to ensure order accuracy. Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery following safety protocols. Load and unload shipments safely using appropriate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Maintain inventory levels by stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and conducting regular stock counts using warehouse management systems. Prepare orders for shipping by packaging items securely and labeling them correctly for delivery. Conduct quality control checks to verify order completeness and product integrity before dispatch. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and adherence to safety protocols during all warehouse operations. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, distribution centers, or similar environments with a focus on order fulfillment. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, RF scanners, and inventory management systems. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items regularly while maintaining proper safety practices. Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, packing, and inventory control. Commitment to safety protocol adherence and the proper use of PPE at all times. Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
