About the Role: The Order Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of CF Interiors’ Order Desk, including team members based in Vancouver as well as our overseas team in the Philippines. This is a hands-on leadership role. In addition to managing and supporting the team, the Order Desk Manager will actively participate in order processing, resolve issues, improve workflows, and work closely with our Sales team to ensure orders move smoothly from sale through to purchasing and fulfillment. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and motivated to continually improve how work gets done. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and coordinate the Order Desk team across Vancouver and the Philippines. Oversee the accurate and timely processing of client orders, purchase orders, order changes, and related documentation. Actively process orders and provide hands-on support during busy periods or when complex orders require additional attention. Review orders for completeness and accuracy before they are processed. Work collaboratively with the Sales team to identify missing or incorrect information and ensure orders are ready to move forward. Establish clear priorities and distribute workload across the Order Desk team. Monitor outstanding orders and workflow to ensure deadlines and service expectations are being met. Identify bottlenecks, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy. Develop, document, refine, and maintain Order Desk processes, procedures, and best practices. Create greater consistency and accountability across the Order Desk function. Train and onboard new Order Desk team members and provide ongoing coaching and support to existing team members. Ensure team members have a clear understanding of processes, responsibilities, and performance expectations. Collaborate with other departments to resolve order-related questions and issues. Help troubleshoot discrepancies, changes, and exceptions while keeping the appropriate team members informed. Take the lead on escalated issues to troubleshoot and ensure proper follow through to the final resolution of the problem. Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and processes that improve the client and employee experience. Maintain a high standard of accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism across the department. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in order management, sales administration, operations, customer service, purchasing, or a similar role. Previous experience supervising, managing, or mentoring a team. Experience managing or collaborating with remote or offshore team members is an asset. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. A process-oriented mindset with an interest in finding better, more efficient ways of working. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships across departments. Comfortable taking ownership, solving problems, and following issues through to resolution.
