Operations/Warehouse Supervisor - $22/hr SLIDELL

Mardi Gras Imports has a part time to full time position available and this will grow into more hours if you are available during our busy Mardi Gras season. To start we are looking for at least 20 hours a week, 4 to 5 days a week up to 35 hours a week. Responsibilities include receiving and organizing merchandise, stocking shelves, assigning tasks, training employees, and keeping work areas clean and organized. This is a hands-on position—you will work alongside employees, move merchandise, and assist customers throughout the day. We’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and comfortable leading a team while staying actively involved in daily store operations. Supervisory, warehouse, or retail experience is preferred. You must have the ability to communicate and supervise staff, customers, and the general public. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and has the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. You must be able to coordinate the deliveries of inventory and maintain inventory accuracy. This is NOT a desk job as you will be counting inventory on the sales floor and in the warehouse, advising on quality control of merchandise, transferring goods to other locations, etc. You will be on your feet most of the day.
